… of “Biblical Proportions?”

September 26th, 2011 at 7:22 am by under Uncategorized, Weather

We often hear of flooding that is “of Biblical Proportions” and hope that we never see it repeated but the account of Moses in the Bible talks of the opposite as quoted here from the NIV Bible (New International Version)

8 By the blast of your nostrils
the waters piled up.
The surging waters stood up like a wall;
the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.

Exodus 15:8

Scientists have often pondered the possibility and a report from 2010 actually may shed light on the subject.

Here’s the report and although it may be controversial, is interesting, none the less.

    Fun to see this ~ thanks for not being afraid to post it!

    I believe this drought and the fires are GOD’s wrath on Central Texas for its ignoring of His commandments.

    1. Mark says:

      So, everyone in Cent. TX is ignoring his confusements? Or is everyone being punished for the actions of a few? Are atheists exempt? Atheists couldn’t break rules in which they don’t believe and are not bound to follow. It follows then that it’s the Christians who are doing a good job, so everyone is being punished for their shortcomings. Why don’t you get on the ball and do a better job so that we don’t all have to suffer. I mean, if you believe in it so much, why is it so hard to follow your own rules?
