Randy Heisch, 1957-2012
We received some sad news yesterday about one of our loyal viewers and an area photographer whose work most of our regular viewers have seen many times on KXAN News.
Randy Heisch passed away July 1st after a hard fought battle with cancer.
We could always count on Randy to provide us with an excellent photograph anytime there was a weather or astronomical event visible from Williamson County or the Georgetown area. Sometimes it was just a beautiful photo of a corn field, but whatever it was, it was always professional quality.
We appreciated him very much, and express our deepest sympathy to his family. His obituary is also below.

(12-21-10) Low clouds this morning precluded eclipse viewing in much of our area, however some occasional breaks in the clouds allowed our friend Randy Heisch in Georgetown to capture the following time lapse this morning.
