Severe threat SaturdayOctober 13th, 2012 at 5:18 pm by Natalie Stoll under Weather
A cold front is slowly pushing through West Texas and sparking severe storms there. The Storm Prediction Center issued a Severe T-Storm Watch (which includes Mason and San Saba counties in our area) until 9 p.m. and a Tornado Watch further north.
Central Texas is in the slight risk for severe weather today so we can’t rule out a thunderstorm with hail or gusty winds.
As the front moves east overnight, the storms will spread our way too. The severe threat will go down overnight but it is a good night to make sure your weather radio is handy just in case.
The rain will wrap up behind the front Sunday evening.
