We saw some active weather this weekend. Here’s recap for you.

A brief, rain-wrapped tornado developed in Lee County Saturday evening around 7. It was reported between Dime Box and Lexington. Luckily, there were no reports of damage or injuries.

Overnight storms moved into the Hill County ahead of the cold front. Before sunrise Sunday a strong line of storms dumped more than an inch of rain over Burnet and Llano counties. There are also a few reports of quarter sized hail and wind damage. A large shed was blown over near Lake Buchanan. At times, the storms winds could have gusted to 70 mph.

The storm fell apart as it moved into Travis and Williamson counties. Those areas saw mainly heavy rain, lightning and thunder.
