Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix Forecast

I have the honor of being the official Formula 1 Grand Prix Premier weather forecaster, and will be providing the forecasts at Circuit of the Americas this weekend.

Here’s our latest forecast:

Saturday:  Cold early, with a low of 42 (6C), but warming to the 60s by 11 a.m. Partly cloudy, High: 69 (21C). Winds:   ENE 5-10 mph.

Saturday Night’s Fanfest activities: Mostly clear and chilly. Temperatures falling to the upper 40s by 10 p.m., and to near 45 (8C) degrees by 2 a.m.  Light east winds.

Sunday:  Chilly early with a low of 44 (7C), but warming to the 60s by 11 a.m. High: 70 (21C).  Increasing clouds, becoming mostly cloudy, with a few sprinkles possible. Winds SE 5-10 mph.

    Man, I hope it doesn’t rain east of I-35. The tires on those F1 cars do not work when the track is wet.
