Even though it may not feel much like it outside, early December is here!! That means we are now fully engulfed in the holiday season. There is sooo much to do around the area with your family surrounding the holiday spirit. Get out and enjoy!! Here are this week’s holiday happenings:
Four Seasons Hotel Gingerbread Village Open Houses
Enjoy complimentary hot apple cider, sparkling wine and festive cookies as you ooh-and-aah over the details of our “Eclectic Austin”-themed Gingerbread Village and Christmas tree in the Lobby. Our talented pastry chefs – along with special guest, Santa – will also be on hand for photo opportunities and to answer questions about the houses, which will be on display from November 21, 2012 through January 1, 2013.

Lost Pines Christmas
The welcome mat is out in historic, picturesque downtown Bastrop, one of the most successfully revitalized Victorian era downtowns in Texas. Holiday treats—great food, entertainment and shopping—await visitors and locals with Bastrop’s first ever Lost Pines Christmas Swirl (a wine tasting circuit of local shops), the First Friday Art Walk, and a massive Christmas street market on Saturday, and open houses at individual stores on Saturday and Sunday.

Festival Of Trees Gala
Where: The public and local businesses are invited to attend the Festival of Trees Gala hosted by Wyoming Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care in Round Rock, Tx.
A silent auction with holiday trees sponsored and decorated by local businesses will take place and all proceeds will benefit the Texas Baptist Children’s Home. Light hors d’oeuvres and festive cocktails will be served. Come in casual attire!

Christmas Family Night
Where/When: Friday, Dec 7 6:30p at Downtown Round Rock, Round Rock, TX
The City of Round Rock rings in the season with the annual Christmas Family Night celebration on Friday, December 7 at 6:30pm. Main Street and the historic water tower will be ceremonially lit for the first time before Santa makes his annual visit. This free event includes activities for the entire family including live music, dancers, candle making, carriage rides, game booths, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus and more.
Cocoa & Cookies With Mr. & Mrs. Claus
Mark your calendars for Cocoa & Cookies with Santa & Mrs. Claus on December 1 & 8 at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA in Cedar Park. Those in attendance will not only have a chance to visit and have their picture taken with Santa, but will also enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, crafts, story time and more. There will be four one-hour sessions each day between the hours of 8:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for children (ages 1-12) to attend. Cost is only $10 per child for Y Family Members and $15 per child for Non-Members.
