For all of you Christmas “dorks” like myself… this idea is awesome!!  I’m sure your little ones would love to hear Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to talk to them.  By the way… the weekly “Holiday Happenings” edition of the blog is coming soon for this weekends festivities.  Here is how you can get your child to talk to Santa himself:

Audingo and Mix 94.7 Make Holidays More Magical for Austin-Area Kids with Personalized Phone Calls from Santa
Voice and video messaging innovator Audingo enables personalities and organizations to develop deeper connections with supporters
Austin, TX – December 11, 2012 – Austin-area children can now receive a free[1], individualized phone call and special message from Santa, radio station KAMX-FM Mix 94.7 and audio-visual social media innovator Audingo today announced. Audingo, creator of an innovative voice and video mobile messaging platform, enables personalities and organizations to develop deeper connections with supporters through personalized phone calls, texts and emails.
With as many different names and as many times as desired through Christmas Eve, Mix 94.7 listeners can now text a child’s name – one at a time – to 512-MIX-0054. Audingo sends a text message back to the mobile device from which the text message was received saying Santa Claus has “one more gift to wrap” but will be calling soon. Santa rings the phone number within 10 minutes and addresses the recipient by name with a special message, such as a report on happenings at the North Pole or words of wisdom to ensure Santa and his reindeer make a stop at the child’s home on Christmas Eve. Santa’s voice also promotes Mix 94.7 radio personalities JB and Sandy’s annual “Bikes for Kids,” a benefit for children around Central Texas.
Audingo’s interactive platform even allows children to reply to Santa with a voice message using Audingo’s TalkBack feature to continue the conversation. These TalkBack replies from kids around Austin are posted on Mix 94.7’s website. Visit to listen to the (adorable) messages.
