Temperatures Past, Present, and FutureJanuary 2nd, 2013 at 11:22 am by markmonstrola under Weather
While looking back at the weather over the past month, we dug up some interesting trends and changes that occurred through December. With plenty of warm air dominating the pattern through the month’s first 3 weeks , a few record high temperatures were set, and 22 of the first 25 days of the month provided us with above average highs. However, cold air finally made its presence known over the past week. From December 26th through January1st, we only witnessed one day above average.
We will continue with this below average trend for the next few days but….
Once Sunday arrives, we are expected to get back to/above average for high temperatures. From there, the Climate Prediction Center believes there is a good chance the rest of January will revert back to the trends we witnessed in the beginning of December…. a good stretch of above average weather. We’ll just have to wait and see!
