Today we went to the legislative hearing concerning the debate raging between the NFL Network and Time Warner/Comcast. It was interesting talking the representatives who didn’t really know what they were doing there since they don’t think this issue even falls under state jurisdiction. However, minutes into Jerry Jones’ speech, you could see many of their facing light up with admiration.
The gist of the meeting: both sides want a lot of money and it looks like one way or another we’re going to end up giving it to them.

I don’t know how crazy I am about Romney’s speech on his religion. I think it a left a lot of people wanting to know more. Personally, I think we are wasting our time talking about someone’s personal beliefs rather than the real issues at hand (i.e., war, education, the basic quality of life in this country). But, who am I to judge those who want to pick a president for our country based on their emotional connection rather than who is logically qualified to lead? If I had my choice, I would pick the best business person I could find and put them in the hot seat. With the shape of our housing market and the strength of the dollar overseas, we need someone who can stop talking about themselves and start doing something to save us all from the poor house.
What do you think?
