Wow, I take a day off and a lot happens in the political gossip world. I received a note from Clinton’s camp saying Barack Obama has refused the debate she agreed to attend in Houston. Also, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) sent us a note saying he now officially endorses McCain as well and, of course, Mitt Romney is now out of the race-leaving the Great Preacher to take on the Great War Hero.

I’m not taking kindly to Obama not attending the Texas debate, especially since it would have been local enough for me to cover. We’ll have to see if he changes his mind, now that I’ve voiced my concern :).

Any thoughts on all this? Are they trying to make Texas not matter??
