Barack Obama has agreed to a CNN hosted debate in Austin for February 21st at 7pm. I haven’t received details yet on where it will be, but there will be a CNN moderator and CNN as well as Univision journalists asking the questions.
“We’re pleased that Senator Obama will have the opportunity to debate in Texas and that it will air on Univision, ensuring a wide and diverse audience,” said Obama Texas State Director Adrian Saenz.

We don’t have the information on that yet and we are still waiting to hear from Clinton’s camp if she has agreed to the debate (although I’m sure she will). But, I’ll post all the info I get as soon as I get it!

Hopefully tickets will be available to the general public, not even Hogg auditorium can hold VERY many people… I wonder where it will be!

Is there any way to stay up to date with what you know about the event? Or do you know where else we can pay attention to opportunities for being able to attend this?

I definitely want to attend as well. I’m sure they could fill the Erwin Center if they had it there; not sure that’s an appropriate venue, but it would be nice to get as many people in as possible…

I, too, am interested in getting tickets for the Austin debate.
Do you have any information on the town hall meeting that will take place on Wed. morning in San Antonio? If so, will you post it?
Who do we contact if we’d like to help work a phone bank for Sen. Clinton? Will she have a local office here in Austin and if so, where is it located?
