Obama Gets Nomination..Clinton Still in the Game?

Well, not really but she’s not conceding yet. Looks like Clinton is angling for a VP position but the question is…would Obama even consider it? I’m torn on this one. On one hand, this has been such a long process and she does have a good portion of the voters that together, they may have a good chance as clinching a victory. However, as a newbie to the White House (if he wins) I don’t know how well the Clintons would do with taking orders from Obamarama.

Jenny — talk about a tough dilemma. Looks to me that Hillary likes the drivers seat — could never be in the background. She is way smarter than those guys — she would be extremely frustrated watching them screw up. She has to be number one. The lines would get real muddled about who is in charge. Sort of a repeat of what we have now. Sure is interesting to watch the power brokers working at the highest levels.

I think a lot of people agree with you on that one… but, perhaps the two of them could work together. I don’t know if their golden ticket is the key to winning the general election…despite loyalty, I highly doubt many staunch C linton supporters will vote for McCain out of anger.

Hey Jenny — I agree — Hillary supporters won’t go for McCain — just an immediate emotional threat.

Hillary not being chosen seems like overtones of sexism going on. A real barometer of cultural bias in the US.

Hillary should take the VP if offered. Currently the “underground” bet placement, the odds are low the (almost even money) that Obama won’t complete the first year. Anyway, the “powerbrokers”, the real people who run this country, will be able it install another puppet to follow the orders like our current president does so well.
