As Gustav moves toward the red states, word has it that changing the date of the Republican National Convention is up for consideration. Already, Perry has announced he will not be attending and Crist from Florida may also be a no show. The list of Republican governors not planning to attend anymore also includes Louisiana governor Jindal and Mississippi’s Barbour.

I can’t begin to comprehend the logistics of rescheduling the RNC. Are you kidding? Is that really do-able?
Gustav is the compelling proof that the Republican Party has made God mad at them.

It was a comment I heard in passing from a Republican insider so I can’t say for sure. I guess we’ll find out soon enough

Enough people are already upset with the Republican Party. If they don’t change the date of the Republican National Convention, it will clearly prove to the “People” that the GOP isn’t about the people.
