Conclusion from the Debate

In all, I was less than enthused with tonight’s debate. I will definitely say the most memorable moment for me was when Sen. Biden almost started crying on stage after Sarah Palin insinuated he didn’t know what it was like for a mom to raise kids alone. Biden immediately reminded the public that he lost his wife and daughter in a car crash and had to raise two sons who were injured in that wreck. His voice then cracked and his eyes teared up…

We’ll hear what the pundits have to say soon enough.

I dont think that Palin answered the questions. This is a debate. Not free TV time to answer questions you wish they asked.

Gwen Ifil should have re-directed her back to the question. People need to realize that this is a person that we could have to send out on diplomatic missions. I think her performance was an embarrassment but the expectations were set so low that she “met up to the expectations”.

As for the folksy “dog gone it” — Just think of her saying “Dog gone it Putin! I am a political outsider.”

This country needs to WAKE UP.

Dog gone it, Palin creamed Biden. Biden did a great job of action the hurt single parent. But Palin lives the struggles of the “middle class” every day. Both did very well in this debate. So it still comes down to who do you think as the ability to control the “government boys” after they win the election. You can change the politicians but the government boys say the same. So even if Palin does become President, she’ll follow the actions dictated to her by the government boys who tell our current President what to do.
