Expect emotions to runĀ high at the capitol tomorrow as the full Senate is expected to hear testimony related to the voter ID bill. Today, a bunch of Democrats compared voter ID to a poll tax and said it would only cost the state millions of dollars to prevent a fraud that doesn’t exist. As usual, Governor Perry wouldn’t give a conclusive answer to the legislation, but he said there were cases of fraud in the state (and then pointed me in the direction of the Attorney General for specifics). Stay tuned for a big day!

Voter ID, what a novel idea. I guess my next door neighbor’s dead grandmother might not think so since she’s voted in every election since her death 6 years ago. Imagine, a voting environment where a picture ID, and warm body with proof they are who they say they are. What a concept !. Anyone who doesn’t support the bill must think they can still win an election through voter fraud. It worked for George W. Bush and his cronies.
