Rep. Kuempel will be in a medically induced coma for the next 1-3 days, according to Rep. Charlie Geren. He is in stable condition in the ICU of Brackenridge after suffering from a massive heart attack Tuesday night in the State Capitol. Rep. Hardcastle said only one committee meeting had been cancelled, the one Kuempel chairs - Licensing and Administrative Procedures. I know his gambling bills were supposed to get a floor date assigned, but I’m not sure yet if that has been delayed.
