Called it!!!

So I totally called the last line of Gossip Girl.  Kind of.  We were dicussing what we thought Serena’s big secret is and we thought sex tape was obvious, then I was like, “you know what would be awesome?  If she killed someone.”  I said it thinking that I was going so far over the top that it would be funny…and at the time I said it, it was funny and by “funny”, I mean people rolled their eyes at me.  But I got mine!  I was right!  I know that in the end, there’s some little out for her, and our Serena will be fine…only after her relationship with Dan crumbles.

I get so emtionaly envoloved in these things that sometimes I wish everything would just go right, so I wouldn’t be stressed out the whole time I watched the show (I was a mess during the whole Sarah meet Serena scene).  But, as I think about it more, I’m not sure I would watch a show were everything was okay, because one has never existed.  I’m sure that there has at some point, but for my point, I’m taking it to the extreme.

Actually, is there a show where there was little or no conflict?  Please share.  Even the Snorks had problems.

It ain’t eazy bein’ me-zy

This morning I did it!  On my way to work, on the third listen, I nailed all of the words to my favorite song, “Like Me” by Girlicious.  You gafaw, until you hear it.

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

I was having bad day yesterday, and to top it off my favorite model hopeful got the boot.  What is the world coming to?

–Um interupt!  The words, “…then we road tripped to SXSW, ” were just uttered on 30 Rock.  I wish they had just said Austin…small victories.

Back to what I was saying about how yesterday The Secret taught a tough love lesson.  Katrazyna had to go, but Dominique gets to stay.  I was being taught a lesson about what I put out there coming back to me. (shaking fist in the air)

Happy Days

How nice was it to settle down Monday night in front of The CW Austin?  I was so happy.  I was not disappointed in the least.  I would like to tip my hat to Jenny, I totally felt sorry for her and she played me!  She also has some crazy teleporting device, because I don’t know anyone who can get from Brooklyn, to the UES to Butter in 3 minutes…cause that’s impossible.

Also, appropriately on Monday, I realized that The Hills and Laguna Beach are infiltrating everything.  I strongly disagree with Brody Jenner getting a mention in the first five minutes of GG.  He doesn’t deserve it (or LC, but that’s besides the point).  Then Stephan Coletti is one One Tree, which apparently has been happening for a while, I’m a little behind.  But really?  I like to keep my reality and my scripted separate and never the twain shall meet.

Son of a married couple!!  I forgot to talk about how a-mazing 30 Rock was last week.  I knew it was going to be good the second Jack referred to Chuck Norris as C-Nor, I know there was a falling out, I just hope that there were no hit lists involved.  I also got a very sweet email last night and all it said was “Goodnight Dummy.”

Tonight’s the night that Girlicious will be revealed to the world!  Can you even stand the waiting?  What will you give me if my prediction from last week was right?  How bout more comments?  I think you should give me that anyway.  But that’s just me.  Also, ANTM is new tonight, it’s a good thing my recliner’s so comfy…oh wait and tonight is the last night that Jesse Martin is on L & O…moment of silence.

That was his story. Dun, dun.

I can’t believe that Fatima got to go to Rome after missing the photo shoot.  What is up with that?!  I’m not saying that I was in love with Stacy Ann’s “body of work”, but I just don’t get a good vibe from Fatima and who doesn’t get their travel papers in order?  I also decided during last night’s episode that I want Katarzyna’s hair.  It might be one of those things though, where it looks awesome on her because she’s a model.  I would get it and it would be totally unspectacular.

I was right with Natalie last night, I wish the would’ve just sent Charlye home.  I was just as sick of Chrystina’s (what is with the y’s in their names) crying as the next girl, but at least she acted like she was trying to patch things up.  I’ve hated to admit it, but Lil Kim did last night, so I’m going to be a follower.  Natalie (or maybe it’s Natalye) is my ”it” girl…even though every once in a while I want to shake her tiny smug body.

My Girlicious prediction: Natalie. Nicole. Tiffanie.

And the one who should have a y throws in an “ie”.  Don’t their parents know they’ll never be able to get souvenir license plates?

Only a week away from NEW Gossip Girl.  Have you seen the new marketing?  Scandalous.  Oh, wait, I mean edgy.  If a string of shots featuring people making out don’t make you watch, I don’t know what will.  Honestly.  Except for the fact that it’s an awesome show and you should be watching it anyway.

You know you love me.

XOXO (and then some).

Welcome Back, Indeed

Tonight is the (very) long awaited return of new episodes of 30 Rock and The Office.  The feelings of anticipation I have right now remind me of the feeling I used to get when I was little and I would hear The Muppet Show theme song.  Giddy.  New episodes of my favorite shows make me so happy.  This is the power of television.  Dramatic? Yes.  How I actually, truly in my heart feel? Yes.

I’ve kept myself away from any sneak peeks of the shows, so that all 22 minutes of them will be new and exciting.  I felt this way to a slightly lesser degree last night before Top Modelstarted…then it was a clip/re-cap show wa-waahhh.  At least Girlicious was new, that made me feel a little better.

To make up for the re-cap show I watched the first episode of Farmer Wants a Wife (premiering on The CW Austin Wednesday, April 30th).  I was expecting the worst and it was better than I thought it would be. BUT, there is this one girl Josie who is horrible, and I am very afraid that the producers will keep her on just so that we have someone to hate.  I’m convinced that she’s not for real, she MUST be acting or, in a few episodes, in a surprise twist, we’ll find out that she’s The Farmer’s (that’s how they refer to him, as “The Farmer”) sister and is there for the sole purpose of stirring up trouble.  She’s a caricature, it ridiculous.

We’re only hours away…man, I’m going to have to put on some mega meditation CD’s in order to concentrate on work today.

That’s what she said.

OMG!

So I didn’t get all of the info I wanted to…believe it or not I don’t get to spend all day coming up with fun stuff to put on here, can you imagine if I did?! Awesome.

Here’s what I got for new episodes on The CW Austin

ONE TREE HILL Monday, April 14

SMALLVILLE Thursday, April 17

GOSSIP GIRL Monday, April 21

REAPER Tuesday, April 22

SUPERNATURAL Thursday, April 24

I DO know that My Name is Earl is new on Thursday on KXAN and that Paris Hilton is guest starring.  My prediction for the episode: hot.

Gossip about a Buffy Alum

Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans have a little something to get excited about.  Michelle Trachtenberg, Buffy’s Dawn, will appear in the Gossip Girl world in May as a shady chick from Serena’s past…just when she was getting it together.  I think the odds are pretty good that she’ll swoop in and make Dan, B and the whole Van der Woodsen clan mistrust S in some way.  Why can’t they just trust her heart?

New episodes of Gossip Girl start on April 21 and I am SO happy.  With the writer’s strike a stress of the past, I’m really looking forward to all of our favorite shows coming back.  I’m going to do some research and compile a list of new episodes dates, so that we can all mark our calendars and cheer.

Any show you’re really looking forward to?

I think I might be the last person who watched both The Pussy Cat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll and The Pussy Cat Dolls Present: Girlicious to figure out that Asia (the winner of the former) is not actually in PCD.

During the weekly announcement from the Dolls I noticed that Asia was absent, I would say noticeably absent, but that’s not true since it took me this long to figure it out.

I did a little research aka “googling” and found out that Asia NEVER became a part of the group, instead she decided to pursue a solo career…lame.  That makes me sad for Chelsea, who I could tell really wanted it.

Life is just so unfair.
