It’s older than old news that Britney’s a little off.  I’ve read for months about the British accent she does.  I had been, I can only guess, subconsciously avoiding witnessing one of her weirder habits.  Well, I heard it for the first time about thirty seconds ago and it’s unsettling.  I just wonder what would’ve happened had the intervention my co-workers and I staged, via the interweb, shortly after she shaved her head been taken seriously.  I know a few things for sure, the VMAs would’ve been talked about less, the writers wouldn’t be on strike and my boyfriend wouldn’t have moved 1797.8 miles away.  It’s like dominoes, the butterfly effect and “Toy Soldiers”…I miss Martika.  Remember?  She was on Kids Incorporated with Fergie.  I got ready listening to “Glamorous” this morning.  Remember when Jenny on Gossip Girl was signing that song with her choir?Â

I’m watching a show that’s not on either one of our stations, but the galaxy is collapsing and I have to share. One of the chicks on LA Ink is having a tattoo removed by Will from the first season of Big Brother. I think we’re scarily close to the entire US population being able to add “Reality Show Cast Member” to their resumes. However until that happens, crossover is weird and makes me feel icky.  I shouldn’t know that the tattoo remover was on Big Brother 2.  It’s wrong.Â

After a “day” at the office, I know that waiting for me at home are two hours of Chuck. A Chuck sandwich. Chuck 7, Celebrity Apprentice 8, Chuck 9. I might be allergic to bread and all of its ingredients, but this is a sandwich that I will enjoy every bite of with no consequence.

…is British! For some reason that makes me like him more, weird, but I’m being honest. Maybe that’s why he speaks so delibrately, making sure every word is delivered with the perfect amount on UES.
Starting on the 28th Gossip Girl will be on Monday’s. I can’t think of a better way to turned that bad, bad day around.

Not just one, but TWO old CW show stars were resurrected on Friday Night Lights last week. My life, my love Weevil from Veronica Mars is the newest thug trying to lure Santiago back into his old illegal way of life. Then Logan from Gilmore Girls is wooing Lila Garrity…to the dismay of a softened Tim Riggins (”Damn, you Lila”)…all that attention for quoting the lyrics to a song…what happens if I do it?

If you needed another reason to watch One Tree Hill, there it is. Good ole Kev-o, K-Fed, Fed-Ex, Dad of the Year, or whatever you prefer to call him will be on One Tree Hill this week. Do you think Britney will watch? I would, if I were her. I like to keep my pain fresh, it makes me feel multi-faceted like a pretty, pretty diamond.
How many times do you think you’ll cringe during his screen time?

The end of Jim Spencer’s Friday Night Lights made me yell at the screen! Tim Riggins was simply being a good guy (more like a good big brother), and he gets kick out? Penalty: Snap Judgement.

It’s Christmas: yay! It’s a New Year: yay! Back to work: bah.
At least I got all new Law & Order and Gossip this week. Ohh! And I almost forgot, our very own Jim Spencer will be warning the folks of Friday Night Lights of some dark weather heading their way. Even more Jim than we normally get…this is 2000 GREAT!
