Welcome Back, Indeed

Tonight is the (very) long awaited return of new episodes of 30 Rock and The Office.  The feelings of anticipation I have right now remind me of the feeling I used to get when I was little and I would hear The Muppet Show theme song.  Giddy.  New episodes of my favorite shows make me so happy.  This is the power of television.  Dramatic? Yes.  How I actually, truly in my heart feel? Yes.

I’ve kept myself away from any sneak peeks of the shows, so that all 22 minutes of them will be new and exciting.  I felt this way to a slightly lesser degree last night before Top Modelstarted…then it was a clip/re-cap show wa-waahhh.  At least Girlicious was new, that made me feel a little better.

To make up for the re-cap show I watched the first episode of Farmer Wants a Wife (premiering on The CW Austin Wednesday, April 30th).  I was expecting the worst and it was better than I thought it would be. BUT, there is this one girl Josie who is horrible, and I am very afraid that the producers will keep her on just so that we have someone to hate.  I’m convinced that she’s not for real, she MUST be acting or, in a few episodes, in a surprise twist, we’ll find out that she’s The Farmer’s (that’s how they refer to him, as “The Farmer”) sister and is there for the sole purpose of stirring up trouble.  She’s a caricature, it ridiculous.

We’re only hours away…man, I’m going to have to put on some mega meditation CD’s in order to concentrate on work today.

That’s what she said.
