The CW Austin Launch week started off with a FANG! New shows The Vampire Diaries and Melrose Place and returning favorites 90210, Top Model, and Supernatural kicked things off!
What better way to create buzz than to hit the streets of the ATX dressed as a VAMPIRE to let the world know that the vampires are coming, the vampires are coming!!
I couldn’t forget about my ladies so I decided to let them know about the Melrose Place premiere with some lip gloss and it was popping to say the least!
It was a great first week but theirs no time to catch your breath because week 2 of launch brings us One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl and The Beautiful Life: TBL….DRAMA….That’s why The CW Austin is TV to Talk about….here we go!

That’s right it is officially only one week left until the 2 hour season premiere of America’s Next Top Model! The 13th cycle promises to be the most exciting with all the girls being 5′7 and under! That’s right the little mama’s can represent too!
It all starts Wednesday, Sept. 9th @7p….that’s 2 hours of the lovely Ms. Tyra Banks and the bevy of aspiring top models….oh yeah don’t forget about Mr. and Ms. J!!

As a kid I always dreamed of performing on stage in front of large crowds of people, and working for The CW Austin has allowed me to do just that emceeing events like SXSW! But nothing could prepare me for what was about to happen next in my adventures as the “Face”.
I got an exclusive behind the set interview with the cast and crew of the Zilker Summer Musical The Music Man! BTW just in case you didn’t know The Zilker Summer Musical is an Austin Treasure! This is the 51st straight year of the show running! All I can say about that is….WOW!
After I finished doing my thing(interviewing and being crazy) I was invited to perform with the ensemble during the 3rd number which happens to be one of my favorites “Trouble”. Well needless to say I was super excited and slightly nervous, I didn’t want to step on any toes and mess up the whole show! FEET DON’T FAIL ME NOW!
Thankfully I had a wonderful cast member by the name of Rebecca Pratt who held on to me for dear life as we sang and moved around in a rhythmic fashion. Thanks to her no toes were injured in the making of the musical! I had a blast and some of the cast members even suggested that I try out next year. Either they were being really nice or I was just simple AWESOME! I’ll let you decide!
