Rock Band Virgin

So I know I am behind the times but I played Rock Band for the first time this weekend.  I started on bass.  My game play began at awful and rose to mediocre.  I switched to lead vocals and did pretty well.  Mainly because I knew most of the songs that we were playing.  The songs we did best were Black Hole Sun, Creep, (Wanted) Dead or Alive and Say It Ain’t So.  Is this a game for people who love rock music but never learned to play an instrument or a fun outlet people who know how to play already?  That game is really fun and I can see how it can be addictive too.  World Tour 08!

You sang very well, good sir, but Sylvi was a beast on bass.

Bret, Sylvi, “i”, and the rest of the band will likely live on in infamy as the first virtual band to ever lose nearly 5000 fans in one song. :)

I’ve heard opinions that go both ways. My old drummer can’t play Rock Band drums because he’s used to the rolls in the real songs that are missing from Rock Band. I haven’t played yet, I’m waiting for Jug Band so I can kick ass on the jug or the washboard.
